Cancellation & Returns Policy
If we deliver incorrect or damaged goods, or in the event that you discover any defect in the goods for which you require compensation or other remedy, you must report the defect within 2 days of the date you receive them by emailing us. Any defects or damages must be reported to us within 2 days and we must be emailed images/photos of the damage/fault within the 2 working days and before any return, refund or replacement is carried out.
Please keep the products purchased in the same condition that they were received and retain the original packaging in the condition it was provided. We reserve the right to refuse the return of items should the original packaging not be available to allow the safe return via our carriers.
Should it be deemed impractical to offer a replacement, redelivery or re-selection of any damaged or faulty items we reserve the right to offer an allowance against a repair, or alternatively a refund for your purchase.
In cases where products are damaged in transit or are otherwise faulty and such faults are duly notified to us within 2 days of receipt of the product, we will either refund the purchase price and all shipping costs upon return of the product to us under this Cancellation and Returns Policy.
Any non faulty or damaged items returned to us will always be returned us at the expense of the customer.
We are very aware that buying items from the internet can cause problems with regard to colour and tone of furniture due to the settings of different PC screens. It is because of this we take great care in photographing our product but we cannot guarantee that the colour on your screen is exactly the same as the actual item. If colour is a concern for you, please contact us and we may be able to send you a sample. Please note though, wood is a natural material and every plank can vary in grain and colour so it is always best to view the overall hue of the piece rather than a specific area.
Returning Non Faulty Goods and Your Right to Cancel.
You have the statutory right to return any products you have purchased within fourteen (14) days after the delivery for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including email) within those fourteen (14) days. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid within thirty (30) days of your notice of cancellation. Please keep the products purchased in the same condition that they were received and retain the original packaging in the condition it was provided and delivered to you. Although your initial delivery may have been free (subsidised within the purchase price) we reserve the right to ask the customer to pay all relevant costs of return of items. The carriage cost varies according to the size of the item but will be between £2.60 and £79.00. Non-mainland UK returns my incur higher return fees.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
Downloadable software products.
Some health and personal care items.
Please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org requesting a return authorisation number. Please state the reason for the return and the original order number in your email.
Any items made to order for you do not carry the same return policy due to these items being manufactured specifically for you and are therefore excluded from the Returns Policy.
After this 14 day period has expired we will be unable to accept returns of any items purchased unless faulty. For an item to be classified as faulty the product must be in less than perfect condition, dysfunctional or of un-merchantable quality at the time of delivery and have been notified to us as such within 2 days of receipt of the product.
A fault may also be classified as a defect, which manifests itself within a reasonable period of time after delivery, which can be attributed unanimously to a manufacturing defect or poor quality workmanship and not due to maltreatment by the customer.
